World Athletics Championships 2013 / medal table
Medal table of the 2013 World Athletics Championships in Moscow. The medals of the 47 decisions went to 38 of the 206 participating countries. The gold medals were spread across 18 countries, including Germany as the only German-speaking country.
The United States won the most world titles with seven gold medals, followed by Jamaica with six gold medals. The hosts Russia and Kenya each won five gold medals. Germany placed fifth with a total of four gold, two silver and one bronze medal. The Switzerland , Austria and Luxembourg were able to win any medals.
The placements are sorted according to the number of gold medals won, followed by the number of silver and bronze medals ( lexicographical order ). If two or more countries have an identical medal balance, they are listed alphabetically on the same rank.
