Light packaging

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As light packaging (also light-density packaging ), abbreviated LVP is called that waste fraction within the Dual System collected nationwide separately and usually in yellow waste containers ( yellow bag is provided) for collection.

Light packaging mostly consists of plastics and composite materials , aluminum or tinplate , possibly combined with paper ( beverage cartons and drinking cups).

Until the end of the monopoly position in 2003, The Green Dot was used to identify the light packaging that was intended for recycling within the framework of the dual system. No labeling requirement since 2009, as all sales packaging aimed at private end consumers must participate in the dual system .
