Leigh Bardugo
Leigh Bardugo (born 1975 in Jerusalem ) is an American writer of fantasy novels for adolescents.
Life
Bardugo studied English at Yale University until she graduated in 1997. Bardugo grew up and lives in Los Angeles . According to her own statements, she suffers from bone necrosis .
Works
The English editions of her books have sold more than 2.5 million copies so far (as of January 2019). They have been translated into more than 38 languages. Most of her novels and short stories are set in the "world of Grisha" (English "Grishaverse").
Grishaverse
Leigh Bardugo became famous for her stories about the magical Grisha.

In January 2019, Netflix announced that it had commissioned the Shadow and Bone series . The 8 episodes should be based on the legends of Grisha and the "Crows Duology". In addition to Eric Heisserer , Bardugo is said to be one of the executive producers .
