history

In 2011 the center was expanded by the investors THI Holding and Adler-Immobilien Investment for 50 million euros by a south wing with 14,000 m².

In spring 2013, CBRE took over the entire Leine-Center Laatzen for 117 million euros. The center continued to be operated by the Hamburg company ECE Projektmanagement . In April 2018, the company switched to von mfi Shopping Center Management GmbH, Part of the Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield Group .

According to Wall GmbH, pedestrian traffic to the center was around 25,000 visitors per day in 2008 and, according to a survey by ECE, fell to around 19,100 visitors in 2016. Approx. 850 employees work in the Leine Center (as of January 2016).
