Mirko Schneider (born April 27, 1994 in Wetzlar ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career hall

Schneider played in his home club TV 05 Waldgirmes since 2004 and in the volleyball boarding school in Frankfurt from 2009 . In 2013 he moved to the newly promoted Bundesliga RWE Volleys Bottrop . After his withdrawal, he played from January 2014 in the second division at TSV Herrsching , with whom he was promoted to the first division at the end of the 2013/14 season. In 2014/15 the player played at SV Schwaig , with whom he finished sixth in the 2nd Bundesliga South. This season Schneider was also a seven-time MVP ( Most Valuable Player ) with six gold and one silver medal and thus reached second place in the MVP ranking. After a season in the Regionalliga Süd at MTV Ludwigsburg , Schneider played for the second division TSV Georgii Allianz Stuttgart in 2016/17 . After a season with league competitor LE Volleys , Schneider has been starting the northern season for VC Bitterfeld-Wolfen since 2018 .

Career Beach

Schneider has played beach volleyball tournaments across Germany with Breitenfelder, Krüger and others since 2010. In 2014 and 2015 Schneider trained and played with beach volleyball partner Lars Lückemeier at the Olympic base in Stuttgart , with whom he played at the highest national tournaments. In June 2014 they even won an international tournament in Antibes (France).

In 2014 Schneider and interim partner Clemens Wickler secured fifth place at the U21 World Cup in Larnaka (Cyprus) and fourth place at the U22 European Championship in Antalya (Turkey) with Max Betzien . At the German Championships in 2015 , Betzien / Schneider took 13th place. With Manuel Harms , Schneider came in second at the German University Championships in 2016.
