It is located on the west side of Leipziger Straße in Magdeburg's Leipziger Straße district and forms the northern end of a row of houses from the Wilhelminian era. The building, which is also listed, borders on Leipziger Straße 28 to the south .
Architecture and history
The five and a half storey building was built in 1888 by Friedrich Werner, who also became the owner of the house. The nine-axis facade of the plastered brick building is designed in the neo-renaissance style. Plaster tape rustics are used on the ground floor and the first floor . On the left and right side of the facade there is a two-axis risalit . The representative entrance to the house is arranged in the middle. The building has a mezzanine , although this area was later changed. The building has two short side wings.
In the local register of monuments , the house is listed under registration number 094 17978 as a monument .
The building is considered to be significant in terms of urban planning in the context of the Wilhelminian style .
