Leipzig Science Prize
The Leipzig Science Prize is an award given by the City of Leipzig , the University of Leipzig and the Saxon Academy of Sciences . It is intended to honor Leipzig as a city of science.
With the Science Award honors scientists who have a Leipzig background or whose work is directly related to the city. The prize is advertised every two to three years and is awarded by a nine-member volunteer jury. It is endowed with 10,000 euros.
