Chief Medical Officer
Senior medical officers (LSO) are deployed in the medical services of the Bundeswehr from large association level (e.g. brigade doctor , division doctor , corps doctor , etc.).
The LSO is the medical advisor to the commander / agency chief / commander , who is also his superior in service. In terms of specialist services ( Section 2 VorgV ), the LSO is in front of the medical officers and the supporting medical personnel of the subordinate units of the large association and is itself subject to the higher-level LSO.
