Lena Gschwendtner (born October 3, 1992 in Esslingen am Neckar ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Gschwendtner began her career in 2002 in her hometown at SV 1845 Esslingen . In 2005 she moved to TSV Georgii Allianz Stuttgart , which two years later became VC Stuttgart after a merger . The Libera was mainly used in the second team of the Bundesliga club. 2009 was her most successful year so far. Gschwendtner won the German U18 championship. She also reached sixth place with the junior national team at the European Championships in Rotterdam and tenth place at the World Championships in Thailand. In 2010 she went to VC Olympia Berlin . She played in the Bundesliga with the youth team in the 2011/12 season. From 2012 to 2014 she played at Allianz MTV Stuttgart . Then she switched to the VolleyStars Thuringia .
