Lenna is the debut album of Estonian pop - singer Lenna Kuurmaa , as lead singer of the girl group Vanilla Ninja became known throughout Europe. The first release of the CD was on June 5, 2010 exclusively in Estonia . From the beginning of her solo career until the summer of 2014, Lenna Kuurmaa only performed under her first name Lenna . The album made it to number one on the Tele2 album download charts . In 2012 the album was released again.

After Vanilla Ninja released her last studio album Love Is War in 2006, Kuurmaa started her solo career in 2009. She has appeared in several films and commercials in Estonia. From October 2009 to May 2010 Vaiko Eplik , Jarek Kasar, Eno Raud and Kuurmaa produced this album. Kuurmaa took part in three of the ten titles. All songs are sung and written in Estonian . There is a hand-signed autograph from Kuurmaa in the booklet. In 2012 the CD was released with a new cover and new artwork. In addition to the ten titles, Õnnelaul and Hüvasti Maa were added. All lyrics can be read in the booklet.

Contribution to Eurolaul 2010

In 2010 Kuurmaa took part with the title Rapunzel at the Eesti Laul , the Estonian preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 . She sang against her band member Piret Järvis , who competed with the band Disko 4000 . Both could not win, they were defeated by Malcolm Lincoln & Manpower 4 in the final.

Music videos

Music videos were shot for the titles Vana Klaver , Kogu tõde Jüriööst and Naerdes Homse Toob and were published on YouTube . The track Still Waters Run Deep was released as a single in Estonia.
