Vaiko Eplik (2007)

Vaiko Eplik (born August 1, 1981 in Rapla , Estonian SSR , Soviet Union ) is an Estonian musician, singer , composer and music producer .

Life and music

In 1997 Vaiko Eplik founded the five-member band Claire's Birthday which broke up in 2003. However, Claire's Birthday surprisingly won the Estonian preliminary decision to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 in Estonia. The band renamed themselves to the finale in Ruffus and took 21st place with their song Eighties Coming Back .

From 2006 he released several albums with various musicians under the name Vaiko Eplik ja Eliit .

Vaiko Eplik also owns the independent record label Mortimer Snerd Records .

In 2010 he produced, among other things, the solo album Lenna by the Estonian singer Lenna Kuurmaa , and in October 2011 the song Hüvasti, maa! , which is also the title song of the Estonian film Täitsa lõpp .
