Leopold Maria Mazakarini (born July 15, 1936 in Vienna ) is an Austrian writer , publisher , actor and university lecturer.

Mazakarini has worked on numerous productions in theaters and has been cast as an actor in many films.

He worked as a copy editor for several Austrian publishing houses, but then went into business for himself together with colleagues in the industry. At the same time, Mazakarini has written a number of books since 1962, some as a co-author of prominent contemporaries. In addition, numerous manuscripts were created for the radio, where he also presented readings of his own texts, for example in the Ö1 show Ex libris under the direction of Volkmar Parschalk .

Orac-Verlag, founded in 1975 by Norbert Orac, was later swallowed up by Kremayr & Scheriau .
