Leo Niehorster

Leo Niehorster (born February 8, 1947 in The Hague , Netherlands ) is an American-Dutch author .

Life

Born in the Netherlands to a US mother and a Dutch father , he lived several times abroad until he was twenty, including in Peru , England and Mexico . He served in the US Army from 1968 to 1972 , including in the 130th Engineer Brigade in Hanau from 1970 . After that he stayed mostly in Germany and now lives in Hanover . In 1982 he earned a Ph.D. from Columbia Pacific University. (English: Doctor of Philosophy) in history. He is the author of various printed English-language publications on World War II . He publishes excerpts from his books on his own English-language website under the title: World War II Armed Forces - Orders of Battle and Organizations .
