Leo Sloma

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Leo Sloma (born April 5, 1890 , † after 1955) was a German actor .

Live and act

Sloma began working as an actor in the early 1910s, but no permanent engagements on larger stages are to be found. Active in film since the eve of World War I, Leo Sloma was often in front of the camera, especially from the beginning of the sound film era, when he was a busy screen batch for the next decade and a half. Above all, the plump actor embodied simple people from the people: innkeepers, drinking buddies and artists. After the Second World War, Leo Sloma found employment primarily at DEFA - the role subject remained the same until the end.
