Leo von Reischach

Leo Florentin Ludwig Rudolf Freiherr von Reischach , (born September 22, 1804 in Klaukendorf , Allenstein district in East Prussia, † March 17, 1875 in Stuttgart ) was a Württemberg governor and politician.

origin

Leo von Reischach came from the noble family of Reischach . His father Johann Carl Friedrich von Reischach (1767–1829) was a Württemberg major and chamberlain. His mother was Albertine von Boyen (1775-1813), he had three siblings. In 1837 he married Mathilde Freiin von Röder (1812–1872), they had two children.

Life and work

After the Latin schools in Vaihingen and Brackenheim, he attended high school in Ulm. From 1823 to 1826 he studied law in Tübingen . In 1829 he began his professional career as a provisional court actuary at the Waiblingen Higher Regional Court. In 1830 he became an actuary at the Hall Higher Regional Court and from 1832 to 1837 at the Stuttgart Criminal Police Office. from 1833 to 1835 he was also the official administrator of the criminal judge. In 1837 Leo von Reischach was appointed senior administrator at the Cannstatt District Office . In 1849 he was retired for health reasons. In 1846 he had already received the title of Royal Chamberlain.

From 1838 to 1848 he was a member of the first chamber of the Württemberg state parliament as a representative of the knighthood of the Neckar district .
