Leon Dame (born 1998 in Berlin ) is an internationally active German model .

He says he was spotted waiting for the bus. He studies theater studies and politics at the Free University of Berlin and has been working as a model since 2015. His agency is Tomorrow is Another Day . He became famous with the final appearance of the Maison Margiela show at the Parisian Grand Palais in autumn 2019. His aggressive and determined walk down the runway became the talk of the day at Paris Fashion Week and on the Internet . He wore a sailor-style leather jacket, white panties and high-heeled knee-high ankle boots, with a military cap. The appearance was staged by the creative director of the fashion label, John Galliano , who has often caused controversial shows. On Twitter, the appearance was characterized as that of a "brazen baby giraffe just leaving a club". The fashion world was entranced by the combination of "angelic child" and outrageous self-confidence, according to Vogue . The video immediately went viral.

It was not Leon Dame's first appearance at a Galliano fashion show. In September 2018, according to Vogue , he stomped down the catwalk in a sorbet green negligee, doll shoes and a swimming cap and "put a smile on everyone's face". In February 2019 he appeared in brightly painted leggings and a bolero, but it was not until September of the same year that he was classified as "breathtaking". Even Anna Wintour was amazed, smiled.
