Leonhard Kass (born October 22, 1911 in Reval ; † November 23, 1985 ibid) was an Estonian football player .

Career

Leonhard Kass was born in 1911 in Reval (renamed Tallinn from 1918) the capital of the Estonia Governorate . In his hometown, the striker played his entire career from 1931 to 1940. Initially from 1931 to 1935 at Tallinna VS Sport , he played in the following years for Puhkekodu Tallinn , JS Estonia Tallinn and Dünamo Tallinn .

In May 1931 Kass ( Ger. For cat ) made his debut in Riga in the Estonian national team against Latvia . Four months later, Kass took part in the 1931 Baltic Cup with the selection of Estonia . This was used in both international matches in the competition. After two wins in the tournament, Kass was able to win the second title for Estonia after 1929 ; this also succeeded again at the 1938 edition , where he came back as a regular player.

Leonhard Kass made a total of 40 missions for Estonia, scoring 8 goals.
