Leonid Fyodorowitsch Ilyichev
Leonid Fjodorowitsch Iljitschow ( Russian Леонид Фёдорович Ильичёв ; born March 15, 1906 in Jekaterinodar , † August 17, 1990 in Moscow ) was a Soviet diplomat and politician.
From 1938 Ilyichov worked for many years in the Soviet press: until 1940 with the Bolshevik (later a communist ), then until 1944 with the party newspaper Pravda . From 1944 to 1948 he was editor-in-chief of the Izvestia newspaper . He then became known primarily as deputy editor-in-chief (1949 to 1951) and editor-in-chief (1951 to 1952) of Pravda .
