Leopold Diwald

Leopold Diwald (born October 16, 1862 in Hohenwarth ; † August 28, 1927 there ) was an Austrian landowner and Christian social politician.

Life

Leopold Diwald attended elementary and lower secondary schools.

politics

He was a member of the local council and from 1895 to 1909 mayor of Hohenwarth. From 1909 to 1915 he was a member of the state parliament of Lower Austria , from 1908 to 1918 a member of the Reichsrat . 1918/19 he was a member of the Provisional National Assembly. He was elected to the Constituent National Assembly in 1919 and to the National Council in 1920.
