Leopold Erb

Leopold Erb (born April 1, 1861 in Steyr , Upper Austria ; † November 22, 1946 there ) was an Austrian teacher and politician .

Erb attended elementary school, secondary school, technology and university and then worked as a professor in Steyr. He has authored several books on natural history and chemistry and was a patron of the national student association.

From 1896 to 1900 and from 1902 to 1918 he was a member of the Austrian Imperial Council and in 1918/1919 the Provisional National Assembly . As a German national member of parliament he was also active in the Upper Austrian state parliament from 1896 to 1918 and then in the provisional state assembly of Upper Austria 1918/1919.
