Hans Sperre (born February 6, 1937 in Sandefjord ; † August 7, 2002 there ) was a badminton and soccer player from Norway .

Athletic career

Lock was the dominant Norwegian badminton player in the 1950s and 1960s . But also in the 1970s he won several Norwegian championships , his last title at the age of 45 in 1982. His first individual title win in 1954 was 28 years ago. He had nine more individual title wins by 1971. He won his first double title in 1957 with Svein Goli , followed by six more by 1973. In mixed he was successful 14 times. Hans Sperre played 47 international matches for Norway.

In the early years of his career, Hans Sperre was also an active player at Sandefjord Ballklubb .

Sperre died in 2002. Son Hans Sperre jr. continues the family tradition in badminton.
