Leopold Wilhelmi
Leopold Wilhelmi (born June 15, 1853 in Xanten , † January 16, 1904 in Blankenburg / Harz ) was a German administrative lawyer and statistician.
Life
Wilhelmi, President of the Imperial Statistical Office, studied law and economics, served in the judiciary, became second director of the Kaiser-Wilhelms-Spende in 1883 , transferred to the Reich Office of the Interior in 1886 , became a lecturing councilor in 1892 and a secret upper government councilor in 1895. In these positions he was entrusted with the processing of social and commercial-political matters, he was a specialist of the Reichsamt des Interior for the commission for workers statistics since its establishment and continued this activity when he 1901 BC. Scheel followed in the directorate of the Imperial Statistical Office , to which the department for workers' statistics was attached.

Edition of Berger's "Reichsgewerbeordnung" (Berl. 1895–99), with Fürst a commentary on the Commercial Court Act of July 29, 1890 (that. 1891), the same in the second edition, in the version of September 29, 1901, with Bewer (that . 1903), only a commentary on the Craftsmen Act of July 26, 1897 (that. 1902) and founded the "Reichsarbeitsblatt", which has been published since 1903.
