Leopold Zimmermann

Johannes Leopold Zimmermann (born September 23, 1904 in Düsseldorf , † October 24, 1964 in Cologne ) was a German politician and member of the state parliament ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and secondary school with the completion of secondary school, he completed an apprenticeship as a locksmith . He continued his education in evening courses and from 1931 was owner of a workshop for radio and television technology. In 1940 he passed the master craftsman examination. He was head master of the guild for radio and television technology and deputy district master craftsman in Cologne.

Zimmermann was married to Marie Ottilie Amanda Brosemann since 1933. He died at the age of 60 in Cologne-Nippes .

MP

From July 21, 1958 to July 20, 1962, Zimmermann was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in constituency 016 Cologne-Stadt IV.

He was a member of the City Council of Cologne from 1946 to 1948 and from 1950 to 1956.
