Leopold von Beckh-Widmannstetter

Leopold von Beckh-Widmannstetter (born November 15, 1841 in Graz , † March 5, 1903 in Vienna ) was an Austrian historian and officer.

When the officer Beckh-Widmannstetter retired as captain of the Austro-Hungarian Styrian Infantry Regiment "Albert I. King of the Belgians" No. 27, he dealt with historiography and worked as an archivist for the Order of Teutonic Knights . He was also the secretary of the Historical Association for Styria. In 1875 he was appointed correspondent of the kk Central Commission for Styria, and from 1902 for Lower Austria. Beckh-Widmannstetter was buried at the Vienna Central Cemetery .
