Baron Leopold von Fürstenberg (born October 30, 1905 in Münster , † January 19, 1979 ) was a German politician and member of the state parliament ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and high school Marianum (Warburg) in Warburg with the Abitur he studied forestry . Following the large state forestry examination , he worked as a forester and farmer. From 1968 to 1973 he was chairman of the North Rhine-Westphalia forest farmers' association . In 1946 Fürstenberg became a member of the CDU.

From July 5, 1950 to July 4, 1954, Fürstenberg was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . He was directly elected in the constituency of 132 Büren. He was a member of the city council of the city of Büren from 1946.
