Leopoldine Pohl
Leopoldine Pohl (* 8. November 1924 in Donawitz ; † 13. June 1996 in Mautern in Steiermark ) was an Austrian SPÖ - politician .
life and career
After elementary school , Pohl completed secondary school and worked as a saleswoman .
In 1960 she became a councilor of the city of Leoben , where she was also the district chairman of the Socialist Women of Leoben .
Leopoldine Pohl took over the executive state chairmanship of the Socialist Women of Styria and was a member of the Federal Women's Committee and the Federal Party Executive Committee of the SPÖ, a member of the District School Council and the Social Welfare Association.
She was a member of the Federal Council from April 11, 1961 to December 5, 1986 for a period of over 25 years.
