Lesley-Ann Brandt (born December 2, 1981 in Cape Town ) is a South African actress .

Life

Brandt emigrated to New Zealand with her parents in 1999 . In 2007 she got her first small television role in the New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street . In 2011 she starred in the thirteen-part sitcom Diplomatic Immunity . In the early 2010s, she made the leap to American television. In addition to a guest role in Legend of the Seeker - The Sword of Truth , she received the recurring role of Naevia in the television series Spartacus , which she played again in the miniseries Spartacus: Gods of the Arena . In 2014 she appeared in five episodes of The Quest . Since 2016 she has played the demon Mazikeen in the series Lucifer .

Brandt has been married to actor Chris Payne Gilbert since 2015 . In July 2017, their son Kingston Payne Brandt-Gilbert was born.
