The Lesný , until 1946 Špičák ( Spitzberg ) or - for the first time in the 19th century - also called Judenhau , is at 983  m nm the highest mountain in the Kaiserwald and the highest point in the Okres Cheb in the Czech Republic . It lies roughly in the middle between Lazy ( Perlsberg ) in the north and Lázně Kynžvart ( Bad Königswart ) in the south.

climate

It is one of the places with the lowest average temperature in the Kaiserwald, around 5 ° C, and the highest annual rainfall - more than 900 mm.

view

Spruce forest predominates on the broad summit. A wooden military observation tower that was located there was demolished in the 1980s. The view from the summit is barely possible to the south and west due to the afforestation. You can see the top of the Dyleň and to a small extent the Fichtel Mountains .

Paths to the summit

From the Lazy - Lázně Kynžvart road, an approx. 1 km long, blue-marked hiking trail leads from a high seat to a wooden pavilion on a small meadow in the summit area.
