Leszek Swornowski (born March 28, 1955 in Breslau ) is a former Polish sword fencer .
successes
Leszek Swornowski took part in two Olympic Games : at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal , he was eleventh with the team. In 1980 he reached the final in a team competition in Moscow , which the Polish team lost to France 4-8. Together with Piotr Jabłkowski , Andrzej Lis , Ludomir Chronowski and Mariusz Strzałka , Swornowski received the silver medal. He finished the individual competition in 25th place. Between the two Olympics he won bronze at the 1979 World Championships in Melbourne . He secured another bronze medal at the 1983 European Championships in Lisbon . In 1978 and 1986 Swornowski was Polish individual champion, with the team he won the title from 1977 to 1987.
