Letronne is an impact crater on the front of the moon on the western edge of Oceanus Procellarum , east of Hansteen and Billy craters and north of Gassendi .

The crater is largely flooded by the lavas of Oceanus Procellarum, the northern part of the wall has completely disappeared and part of the western wall is covered by the Winthrop crater . The ridge of the Dorsa Rubey, which extends in a north-south direction, ends approximately in the middle of the crater .
