The approximately 155 to 180 cm tall horses are used as riding and draft horses. Latvian warm-blooded animals are mostly dark browns, blacks, falcons or foxes, and occasionally they are also found as mold.
interior

Breeding history
The Latvian Warmblood is a horse breed that originated around 1950 when two Latvian breeders crossed native horses of the “northern forest species” with Oldenburgers , Hanoverians , Holsteiners and Frisians . The result was a robust breed that can be used in many ways. Since 1952 the "Latvian chariot horse" (Latvian: Latvijas braucamie; this is how the breed was called until 1976) recognized as an independent breed; since 1976 it has been called "Latvian Horse Breed".
