The Strukkamphuk lighthouse is located on the island of Fehmarn, directly west of the Fehmarnsund Bridge . It is only accessible for pedestrians from the Fehmarnsund Bridge or for campsite users from the campsite at Strukkamphuk. The interior of the very small lighthouse cannot be visited. Together with the lighthouse Flügge it forms a leading light for driving water through the Fehmarn .

history

A first beacon was erected in 1872 on a three meter high wooden frame. An iron lantern house followed in 1896, which was replaced by today's concrete tower in 1935. Its beacon was equipped with a liquid gas light. In 1954, electrification took place using a 40 W incandescent lamp. A halogen incandescent lamp has served as a light source since 2000, and the lamp changing device also contains five replacement lamps.
