Seehausen is a village in the Niedergörsdorf community in the south of the Teltow-Fläming district in Brandenburg . In 1996 Seehausen had 360 inhabitants. The Angerdorf has many four-sided courtyards with gatehouses ; in the middle of the courtyard are partially brick pigeon houses .
history
Seehausen was first mentioned in a document in 1385. Due to the planned village layout, the village was founded in the late 12th century. This is also supported by the village church, which can probably be dated to the first quarter of the 13th century. Seehausen already belonged to the Seyda lordship at the time of the first mention, which the Saxon elector Friedrich the Wise bought in 1501 and converted into an office ( Amt Seyda ). In 1813, in the course of the wars of liberation, there were looting and fires, during which all church writings in the rectory were destroyed. As a result of the Congress of Vienna , Seehausen became Prussian in 1815 and came to the district of Schweinitz ( Province of Saxony ). In 1952 the district of Schweinitz was dissolved, Seehausen was now part of the new district of Jüterbog , which was merged with two other districts to form the district of Teltow-Fläming during the district reform. In 1992 Seehausen joined the Niedergörsdorf office, which was dissolved again when the Niedergörsdorf community was founded. Since then, Seehausen has been part of the Niedergörsdorf community.
