Eugene Alan Snisky (born January 14, 1970 in Nesquehoning , Pennsylvania , USA ) is an American wrestler . He was most recently with World Wrestling Entertainment signed and entered there under the ring name Snitsky in RAW - Roster of.

Career

Snisky was trained in Afa Anoa'i's wrestling school and made his first major appearances for his promotion World Xtreme Wrestling . There he won both the WXW Tag Team Championship and the WXW Heavyweight Championship.

In September 2004 Snisky made his debut under the name Gene Snitsky (later simply Snitsky ) in the WWE RAW roster. In his first match, he knocked Kane down with a chair, whereupon this fell on his (according to the storyline ) pregnant "wife" Lita and killed the unborn child. Snitsky responded with the saying "It wasn't my fault." (English "It wasn't my fault."), Which became his motto in the following years.

During a lengthy feud with Kane, to whom he eventually lost in New Year's Revolution in 2005 , Snitsky briefly joined the tag team with Heidenreich . The WWE planned a match against Kane and the Undertaker at Wrestlemania 21 , but the Undertaker rejected this pairing (non- Kayfabe ) and instead wrestled against Randy Orton . After a temporary hiatus due to a blood clot, Snitsky teamed up with Edge and Lita to support the former against Kane.

On July 18, 2005, Snitsky received a match against WWE Champion John Cena , which he lost. At that time, Snitsky got the gimmick of a foot fetishist , but this had no particular impact on his further career. Following a brief feud against Big Show , Snitsky appeared primarily on the B-Show Sunday Night HEAT .

From November 2005 Snitsky formed a tag team with Tyson Tomko . Their biggest success was a match against the reigning World Tag Team Champions Kane and The Big Show, which they lost. The team disbanded when Tomko was fired from the WWE in April 2006. At HEAT Snitsky became Face for the first time in the same month and teamed with Goldust . This team also tried in vain to conquer the World Tag Team Championship. Another dismissal caused the separation; this time Goldust had to leave the WWE in June. Since then, Snitsky has been considered one of the biggest stars on HEAT , but very rarely appears in the A-shows .

On February 6, 2007, Snitsky moved from RAW to ECW when he attacked ECW World Heavyweight Champion, Bobby Lashley . On June 11, however, he was sent back to RAW as part of the cast change in the WWE. He has since built a long streak of victories that was last broken by Jeff Hardy when he defeated Snitsky in a match for the Intercontinental title.

He was released on December 11, 2008.

From 2009 Snitsky appeared in several independent leagues. Mainly at Nu-Wrestling Evolution and National Wrestling Superstars.

At the beginning of 2014, Snisky was briefly under contract with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling .
