Oehna is a district of the municipality Niedergörsdorf in the district of Teltow-Fläming in the state of Brandenburg .
geography
Oehna is located on the edge of the Fläming , a mountain range in Brandenburg, eight kilometers south of Jüterbog and 28 kilometers northeast of Wittenberg .
history
Oehna was first mentioned in 1161 in a letter from Bishop Wichmann. Later it belonged to the Seyda rule, which was converted into the Seyda office in 1501 .
In 1815 the area became part of Prussia and the Schweinitz district . During the district reform of 1952, the place was assigned to the newly formed Jüterbog district . In 1993, the Jüterbog district was combined with the Luckenwalde and Zossen districts to form the Teltow-Fläming district.
In 1992 Oehna joined the Niedergörsdorf office , which was dissolved again in 1997 with the formation of the Niedergörsdorf community. Since then Oehna has been part of the Niedergörsdorf community.
The village church was last renovated inside and out from 1997 to 1998.
Infrastructure
There is an outdoor pool in Oehna that is visited by around 20,000 people every year.
Landstrasse 811 and Kreisstrasse 7211 intersect in the village. North-east of the village there is a Deutsche Bahn station on the Jüterbog – Röderau railway line.
The Flaeming-Skate route runs through Oehna ; it is connected to the train station there.
The Oehna Airport (EDBO) is located south of the village, not far from the railway line. Among other things, there is an aircraft yard and a restaurant with overnight accommodation.
Parish partnership
Oehna has had a partnership with the municipality of Mainstockheim in the Kitzingen district in Bavaria since 1991 .
