At that time it belonged to the Seyda office and in 1501 came to the Wittenberg office. During the Thirty Years War the village became almost desolate ; in addition there was the plague in 1635 . From 1816 it belonged to the province of Saxony , district of Schweinitz . From 1826 to 1829 the place was attacked by a plague of locusts; In 1839 there was a major fire. In 1952, Zellendorf came to the Jüterbog district . From 1992 Zellendorf was part of the Niedergörsdorf office, since 1998 it has been a district of Niedergörsdorf.
