Levinus Eekmans
Levinus Eekmans († 1641 ) was a German master organ builder .
Life
He worked in the north-west of Germany as far as the Netherlands and possibly comes from Blomberg ( Lippe ). Around 1621 he lived in the north for a time . The organ of the church in Midwolde near Leek ( Groningen ), which he built in 1630, is documented as work. He began building a new organ in the Laurenskerk in Alkmaar in 1639, but did not finish this work because he died in 1641.
