Lewis Kinsella (born September 2, 1994 in Watford ) is an English football player . The left full-back went through various youth teams at Arsenal FC and Aston Villa before he was promoted to the professional division of the "Villans" in early 2015 after regular appearances in the reserve team.

Athletic career

Kinsella was initially trained at the Arsenal FC academy. The "Gunners" eventually sorted out the young left-back after a number of competitors were rated as more promising in his position. At the time, Kinsella was still a U-16 player and, with the strong recommendation of the Arsenal youth coach, he found a new sporting home in the youth department of Aston Villa. At the "Villans" he was noticed at the European youth tournament NextGen Series when he scored the 2-1 winner at Fenerbahçe Istanbul in the 2011/12 season. In the following season 2012/13 he was initially absent due to an injury, but was then one of the key players who ultimately even won the competition. Since then he has been a regular member of the Aston Villa reserve team. After being promoted to the professional sector at the beginning of 2015, he was loaned to the fourth division Luton Town for the remainder of the 2014/15 season at the end of March of the same year . In Luton he played three league games until his return to Birmingham, two of them from the start.
