Leyla Ilham Qizi Əliyeva ( Azerbaijani-Cyrillic Лејла Илһам гызы Әлијева Lejla Ilham qyzy Älijewa ; * 3. July 1985 in Moscow , Russian SFSR ) is the daughter of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Əliyeva .

Life

Aliyeva was married to the jazz and pop singer Emin Ağalarov and is the mother of twin sons.

Aliyeva has been Vice President of the Haydar Aliyev Foundation and publisher of Baku fashion magazine since 2011 .

Documents from the offshore leak published in April 2013 show that Leyla Aliyeva and her sister Arzu have owned three companies in the British Virgin Islands tax haven since 2008 . The director of all three companies is the Iranian entrepreneur Hassan Gozal, who has received government contracts. Therefore, in the case of corporate corruption -Verdacht. Younger sister Arzu Aliyeva owns Arbor Investment while Leyla Aliyeva owns LaBelleza Holdings Limited and Harvard Management Limited . According to the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project , Aliyeva, along with her sister Arzu, owns majority stakes in the three most important financial institutions in Azerbaijan - Xalq Bank, Kapital Bank and Pascha Bank.
