Li Jun (born January 2, 1993 ) is a Chinese shot putter .
Athletic career
Li Jun gained his first international experience at the Junior World Championships 2012 in Barcelona , where he finished sixth with 19.72 m. Two years later he won the bronze medal with his best performance at the Asian Indoor Championships in Hangzhou behind the Indian Om Prakash Karhana and his compatriot Wang Guangfu . In 2017 he took part in the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar , where he finished seventh with 18.16 m. In 2018 he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time and finished sixth there with 18.59 m. The following year he reached eighth place at the Asian Championships in Doha with a width of 18.24 m.
