Liar (English for liars ) is a television series that was commissioned by the broadcasters ITV and SundanceTV as a British - US co-production . It was managed by the British brothers Harry and Jack Williams and their production company Two Brothers Pictures, who were previously involved in the series The Missing , which was also co-produced .
