Liberal conservatism (or liberal conservatism) is a variety of conservatism that tries to combine essential elements of classical liberalism with conservatism: A liberal economic and civil rights policy is supplemented by (moderate) social conservatism .

Liberal conservatism dominates especially in Europe, alongside Christian Democracy , center-right politics .

Furthermore, liberal conservatism is also used as a synonym for bourgeois-conservative views of the political center .
