Liberalistene ( Lib , German : Die Liberalisten ) is a party from Norway . The ideological foundation is based on classical liberalism , the Age of Enlightenment and the secular western cultural heritage. This party is working towards a minimal state that should only take over the tasks of the police , army and the judiciary . She doesn't want the state to regulate the economy or other areas of society.
Party platform
Liberalists want to consistently promote liberalism and its policies in accordance with the principle of laissez-faire capitalism. Unlike their political opponents, liberalists believe that the state should not be allowed to impose burdens on the population and exists only to protect individuals from aggressors , theft and fraud. Like the party motto: Ditt Liv, Ditt Valg (German: your life, your choice ), the party believes that everyone holds their own life in their hands and is responsible for their decisions and prosperity . Furthermore, she believes that everyone has the inviolable right to independently pursue their own private interests and desires, as long as they do not break someone else's right.
Since the party adheres to the values of Western constitutionalism, it believes in the separation of state power into the three branches : executive (executive power), legislative ( legislation ) and judiciary ( jurisdiction ). This system of mutual control ensures personal freedom and prevents the establishment of statism .
On the economic level, the party has promised itself laissez-faire capitalism and is in favor of a free market without regulation. Personal freedom is a natural state that leads to innovation and ingenuity . Regulation hinders self-determination and self-ownership , which hinders individual freedom and innovative productivity. People should work together voluntarily under peaceful conditions, without any coercion of state intervention .

Liberalistene was founded in 2014 with the aim of running in Norway's 2017 general election. The goal was achieved. The party has members in all 19 Fylker .
Liberalists is led by a central board.
The official English name of the party was Capitalist Party (German: Capitalist Party ), there is no direct German translation.
The party's youth organization, Liberalistisk Ungdom (German: Liberalistische Jugend ), was founded in 2004 by Det Liberale Folkepartiet (German: Die Liberale Volkspartei ) and was taken over by Liberalistene in 2014.
