The Lichte Querstraße is a street in Lübeck's old town .
location
The approximately 90-meter-long Lichte Querstraße is located in the southwestern part of the old town island ( Marien Quartier ) and runs in a north-south direction. It begins at the Dankwartsgrube opposite the Düstere Querstraße and connects it with the Hartengrube .
history
The Lichte Querstraße was first mentioned in 1309 as Platea transversalis inter fossam ducis et et fossam Tanquardi (connecting road between Hartengrube and Dankwartsgrube). In 1586 the name Lichte Dwerstrate is documented, in 1852 its name is Lichte Dwasstrasse . The current name was officially established in 1884.
Buildings
- Lichte Querstraße 12 , the core of the house dates back to around 1300, which was rebuilt in 1499 and rebuilt in a classical style in 1832 .
