Do you love the show? was a television show that was broadcast on ARD on November 24, 1962 . Directed by Michael Pfleghar presented Alice and Ellen Kessler pop stars , with the Hazy Osterwald Sextet occurred. The show is considered the first serially produced German TV show. It was considered the most expensive TV show in the still young German television history. The episodes were produced in Geiselgasteig by Bavaria Film . Hannes Staudinger was the head cameraman and responsible for lighting , while Ernst Wild was in charge of the camera . Both were renowned cameramen in the film industry. The show idea was sold to the USA despite the moderate success in the home country.
After the planned four editions, the elaborately produced show was not extended due to a lack of audience response.
