Ernst Wild

Ernst Wild (born September 28, 1930 in Stará Role , Czechoslovakia ) is a German cameraman .

Between 1949 and 1954, Wild received training in precision mechanics and optics from Agfa . In the 1950s and early 1960s he was involved in numerous films as a camera assistant and simple cameraman, including one, two, three (1961) by Billy Wilder .

Since the early 1960s he made several cinema and television films on his own responsibility, but his main field of activity was advertising . Repeatedly he filmed symphony and opera performances. In 1978 he received the gold film tape for his camerawork at Rheingold .
