AB Lietuvos kuras ( LK ) was a petrol station operator in the Lithuanian capital Vilnius . The trading company belonged to the company "Koepcke International Holdings BV" ( Netherlands ). It was based in Naujamiestis .
history
In 1991 LK founded the Lithuanian- Finnish joint venture "Litofinn Service" together with the Lithuanian company " Mažeikių nafta " (AB) and the Finnish company Neste Oil . On July 19, 1995, the company was registered as an AB. In 1997 a turnover of 313.3 million Litas (90.74 million euros) was achieved with a share capital of 178.6 million Lt (50 million euros). LK had 120 gas stations . In 2000 it employed 1,049 people. 2001, the company owed (31 million 108 million Lt euros ). The insolvency procedure was initiated by UAB "Baltik Petroleum", which invested LK 10 million in LK. In 2003 UAB " Lukoil Baltija " bought 16 gas stations from AB "Lietuvos kuras". Lietuvos kuras was dissolved on January 18, 2010.
