Liga Muçulmana de Maputo (mostly just Liga Muçulmana , German Muslim League of Maputo ) is a football club from the capital of Mozambique , Maputo .
It is one of the richest football clubs in all of East Africa.
history
Liga Muçulmana de Maputo was founded in 1990 and was first class in 2005.
The first success came in 2004 with winning the city championship of Maputo, with which the capital city qualified for the 2nd league.
After just failing in the promotion race in the first season, they did better in 2006 and rose to the highest Mozambican league Moçambola for the first time in the club's history .
The greatest successes were celebrated in 2010, 2011 and 2013, when you could win the Moçambola .
