Lilijana Kozlovič

Lilijana Kozlovič (born October 30, 1962 ) is a Slovenian politician ( SMC ). She has been the country's Justice Minister since March 2020.

Life

Lilijana Kozlovič worked for the police in Koper from 1981 and later studied law at the University of Ljubljana , where she graduated in 1997 and 2012. From 2004 she worked in the Ministry of Public Administration.

She was elected MP in the 2014 parliamentary election. She is the chairwoman of the SMC local association in Koper and has been a member of the party executive committee since October 2015. From 2016 to 2018 she was Secretary General of the Cerar government . From 2019 she was General Director of the Slovenian Environment Agency.

Following the resignation of Prime Minister Marjan Šarec , who had led a minority government , the new Prime Minister Janez Janša ( SDS ) presented his new government in March 2020, of which Lilijana Kozlovič belongs as Minister of Justice.
