Lilium saccatum is a plant type from the genus of lilies ( Lilium ) in the section Sinomartagon . It wasfirst describedby Sung Yun Liang in 1987.
description
Lilium saccatum reaches heights of between 20 and 30 centimeters. The egg-shaped onion has a diameter of around 2 centimeters, the lanceolate scales are pale brown, 2.5 centimeters long and 7 millimeters wide. The mostly distributed, but occasionally heaped in several and almost whorl - shaped leaves are ovate to elliptical-lanceolate, 2 to 4 centimeters long and 8 to 12 millimeters wide.
In July, terminal, nodding and bell-shaped single flowers are formed. The bag-shaped at the base bloom are purple and dark spotted narrow elliptic and 2.3 to 2.5 centimeters long and 8 to 9 mm wide. The nectaries are not papillary .
The filaments, which are bent towards one another, are 1 to 1.2 centimeters long and hairless, the anthers around 6 millimeters long. The purple cylindrical ovary is 8 to 10 mm long and 2 to 3 millimeters wide, the stylus 8 to 9 millimeters long. The scar is swollen and three-lobed on the surface.

So far, the species has only been detected in the southeast of the Chinese province of Xizang in the Mainling district at altitudes of 3900 meters on embankments in bushland and meadows.
